Do You See What I See?

Do You See What I See?

Things are not always the way you perceive them to be. So, in answer to the question. Do you see what I see? The answer is, probably not.

We are all influenced by our opinions, beliefs, personalities, and past experience. Inevitably this affects the way we interpret the world around us and our interactions with other people. What I see as an opportunity others may see as a threat. What I see as an insult others may see as a joke. In the normal course of everyday life this may be of little consequence but, if you are running a business, it can mean the difference between success and failure.

Which Social Media Site Still Gives You a Ton of Organic Reach?

When a social media site is new, it’s looking to build up users and traffic. To do this, it’s willing to give marketers a ton of organic reach for free. Then one day the social media site’s owners decide the site has grown sufficiently big with members and traffic and they change how things work. Now marketers are forced to pay to play.

This is the point where you either spend more on ads or your content will be buried where no one will ever see it again. (more…)

Action Takers Succeed! What are you afraid of?

Action creates change. Action produces results.

Edmund Burke was an Anglo-Irish author, political theorist and philosopher, he was born in Dublin Ireland in the 1700s. He’s mainly remembered for his support of the American colonies, that ultimately led to the American Revolution. He believed that the way to combat troubles, big or small was to take action.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing” – Edmund Burke. (more…)

Goals. Do You Really Need Them?

Goals. Do You Really Need Them?

Do you really think that you don’t need Goals?

Just imagine; you decide that are going to take a day off from work and treat yourself to a day out. You go to the Railway Station and say to the Clerk “I would like a Ticket please”. “Certainly, where do you want to go?” “Oh I don’t know, just somewhere nice.” You say. So, where do you think you will end up? Most likely in a strange place, lost and confused. In all aspects of life, both business and personal, we benefit from having well defined Goals.

A man sets out on a journey of a lifetime. The problem is, he doesn’t know where he wants to go. So he spends the next 40 years wandering the back roads, never really going anywhere. Another man chooses his destination. It’s a promised land, far, far away. The dangers he faces along the route are great and the challenges seem almost insurmountable. Yet because he knows where he wants to go, he is able to find his way, overcome the challenges and eventually reach his destination, where he retires in 10 years’ time.

One man didn’t know where he was going, and so he wandered for 40 years and achieved nothing. The other man knew exactly where he wanted to go, and because of his belief and determination, he was able to overcome every obstacle and reach his destination in 10 years.

Which person are you?

Once you begin your journey, take time every single day to revisit your goal.

Advanced Tip: Measure what you treasure.

Whatever your goals might be, take daily measurements of how you’re doing. For example, if your goal is to reach a certain income level, you’ll want to track your profits daily. If your goals are to exercise and eat right, you’ll want to keep a journal of everything you eat and every exercise you perform.

Whatever your goals might be, measure what you treasure and you will get more of what it is that you want.

Will You Get Paid This Month?

Will You Get Paid This Month?

Would you like the security of Knowing that you are going to get paid this month?

When you first get started online, you might be worried. Frankly, you probably should be worried. Yes, you made sales this month. But will you make sales NEXT month? And how will you pay the bills if you don’t get paid?

It can be scary going from a job where you know exactly how much you’ll get paid and when you’ll get paid, to working your own business online.

In your business you might have a high earning month and then a couple of months of nothing, followed by a mediocre month followed by (hopefully) another good month.
So How do you get stability in your business and your income -as quickly as possible?”
and KNOW for a FACT that next month you can make the mortgage and eat, too.

How do you achieve a regular income that pays the bills and gives your Business some stability? The answer is, of course, continuity programs. Also known as memberships, recurring payments, monthlies, etc.
Once you have people signed up to a Continuity Program you can continue to get paid month after month.

There are a few decisions you need to make. Do you promote other people’s programs? ( Affiliate) Or do you Create and operate your own Program? There are advantages and disadvantages to both The problem, of course, is that in exchange for less responsibility, you also have less control and more competition.
We explore this in the Video.

Promoting affiliate memberships is a give and take. Less responsibility, no control and lots of competition.
And this is why you might want to start your own membership. Look around and see what people in your niche desperately want and need, and then fill that want with your site.

Once you’ve got your membership site up and running, it’s time to get busy promoting it.
Find out what your best sources of traffic are, and then put all of your effort into just those methods.

Get your conversions up and your costs down and now you have a viable way of getting a continuous influx of new members into your site.
Want even more members? Show affiliates how well your offer is converting, and you can get them to promote your membership site, too.
There are plenty of affiliates out there who want that continuous, month to month income that a good membership site provides. All you have to do is show them that your funnel is converting and members are sticking.
Naturally, there are a lot more details than this to starting a membership site. But hopefully this gets you thinking in that direction.

Create a membership empire to secure your finances, and you will get paid every month.
Security first, right?

Relationship Building Why Bother?

Relationship Building Why Bother?

Is Relationship Building Hogwash? Someone asked me the other day. “Why build a relationship with customers when you can just sell to them?” I asked this person how much money they’re making selling online. And their answer was, nothing.

True, they haven’t even put up their first website yet. They have no list and no products.
But they’re sure that you don’t need to pay any attention to Relationship Building with their prospects – just put your links out there and people will buy.
I asked this person why they don’t do that on social media – just post links to products and make sales.
And I loved their answer: “Oh yeah, I’ve been doing that. I’ve posted a half dozen different links probably 20 times each.”
“And how many sales did you make from that?” I queried.
“None yet, but I expect the sales will start rolling in any day now.”
Yeah.
Right.
As they say, “Good luck with that.”
Imagine for a moment that you’re surfing online. Maybe you’re on social media, or a blog, or wherever. You see a link. You click the link. And it takes you to a sales page.
What do you do? 9 out of 10 people will click away within seconds.
The other person maybe checks it out for a moment, and then leaves.
No sale.
Now imagine you’ve been following this person online. You like them. They’re interesting, entertaining, and most of all they give you good information.
One day they recommend a product. And because you know, like and trust this person, you check it out. You like what you see. And hey, it’s recommended by someone you trust, so you buy it.
Big difference, right?
Now the question is, how exactly do you build rapport with your audience?
It’s not by throwing affiliate links at them. At least, not right away. True, you can try to up sell them when they fill out your squeeze page form. It’s a good way to monetise your list building so that it pays for itself.
But most people won’t buy yet because they don’t know you yet.
That’s why you want to send them to a blog post or “about me” page that tells them about you, your lifestyle and what you believe.
Your goal is to resonate with your new subscribers, or at least some of them. You’ll repel some, too, but that’s okay. It’s all about building your tribe – find the people who will follow you and love you and your content and yes, your recommendations, too.
I’ve seen some marketers hit their new subscribers with a page full of their products. WHAM! It’s like a slap in the face. “Now that I’ve got you here. I want you to BUY BUY BUY!”
Which is a really good way to get your new subscriber to RUN, RUN, RUN.
Do you know how to sell $3,000 a month coaching?
Sell them a $10 eBook. Follow up with amazing content. Sell them a $50 product that blows them away. Spend a few weeks or months demonstrating that you are the person they can get to know, like and TRUST.
Then present your $3,000 coaching program, and you won’t even need a sales letter.
“Hey folks, I’m opening my coaching to 3 new clients. Here’s where you sign up.”
Yes, it works. Like gangbusters. And yes, you’re taking the long view approach, but it’s the method that works, so why not?
Or, you could just throw out handfuls of affiliate links, and hope that sooner or later someone buys something.
Yeah.
Right.

Get it?

Relationship Building is important. Not just in Sales and Marketing but in all areas of life.

Secrets That Are Not Actually Secret

Secrets That Are Not Actually Secret

There are many supposed Secrets that when you look at them they are not actually secret. Just common sense.

Secrets of Self Made Millionaires.

The wealthiest people tend to focus more on earning than on investing. While the wealthy certainly understand the importance of saving and investing, the bulk of their efforts is directed towards accumulating wealth through serving people and solving problems. After all, it’s difficult to save or invest money you don’t have. Here are 4 Secrets that are not secret. They are well known wealth-building strategies used by many self-made millionaires.

Secrets. Number One: Change Your Mindset About Money.

I was having lunch with a millionaire friend when he announced he had lost everything that morning. Then he asked me to pass the ketchup.

“Aren’t you devastated?” I blurted out.

“Why would I be? I AM money. I’ve made fortunes before and I’ll make my next one this month.”

Getting rich starts with the way you think and what you believe about making and having money.

By the time we are 7 years old, we are programmed with other people’s thoughts and belief systems – not our own. And if your fundamental programming says that money is bad, then you will never get rich.

You’ve got to train your mind – including your subconscious mind – to believe that money is GOOD that you should have it. This means letting go of all the taboos that surround being rich and training yourself to see money as a tool that can be used for tremendous good in the world.

Once you are open to becoming rich, then your job is to find solutions to difficult problems.

All around you are things just waiting to be solved, invented and started. Seeing the need or want and then filling it is the real secret to making money.

And it is possible for anyone who conditions their mind to think this way, and then transform that thought into action.

Secrets. Number 2: Develop Multiple Streams of Income.

Start with the income stream you currently have and increase that income while adding more income flows.

It’s easiest if your multiple streams are all related.

For example, you start as a dog walker.

You take your earnings and purchase a doggy day care, while hiring someone to take over your dog walking duties.

You add a pet salon to the doggy day care, and then add on rooms to board cats and dogs.

Next, you sell dog and cat supplies, and start a website dedicated to pets on which you sell advertising and affiliate products.

That’s 7 streams of income, with additional possibilities.

Secrets. Number 3: Invest Every Single Day.

Break down all of your money goals into daily goals.

This way you’ll try to make as much money as possible each day, so you can invest it.

There might be days when you can only invest $5, but other days when you can invest $100.

Doing this gets you into an investment mindset that will make all the difference in your financial future.

Secrets. Number 4: Pay Yourself First

I’ve saved this one for last, because it’s the tried and true, never fail method of become wealthy.

No matter what, always put money in your savings or investments before you pay bills or buy anything.

If you can have money drafted straight out of your paycheck for this purpose, do it. Whatever it takes to save automatically is what you should be doing.

You might even get a second job or income stream and devote 100% of that money to savings.

Just have the checks deposited into your savings account, and never touch it except for investment purposes.

10K a Month. Why Are You Not Making It?
